In Germany, some retailers are already starting to display RTX 4080 Super on their sites. One example is NotebooksBilliger, which has leaked the prices of certain cards, showing off some “MSRP” models in the process!
RTX 4080 Super already on display at some retailers!
In Germany, NVIDIA’s suggested retail price is €1,109. Before you get out your pitchforks, please note that the prices quoted in dollars by the brands do not include taxes. So the $999 announced by NVIDIA becomes €1,109 simply by converting it into dollars (€1 = $1.08 to $1.09) and then adding tax of around twenty percent. And we’re back on track.
Anyway, as far as NotebooksBilliger is concerned, the merchant displays no less than eleven cards on its website. Among them, we find a few priced at €1,109:
- Gigabyte WindForce
- Gigabyte WindForce v2
- Inno3D X3
- Zotac Trinity Black Edition
Other cards include more expensive versions such as the Palit Jetstream at €1,149 and Gigabyte’s Gaming OC at €1,159. However, the most expensive card is still the Aorus Master at €1,249, again from Gigabyte. However, this price can be justified by the presence of a truly outstanding four-slot cooling system. Whether this is really useful remains to be seen.
In any case, the 4080 Super comes with a slightly more complete GPU. In the process, the latter gains 4 SM and goes from 9728 cuda core to 10240 cuda core. Otherwise, there’s no change in memory: 16 GB GDDR6X with 256-bit interface. Fortunately, the price has officially dropped: $999 from $1199! The launch will take place on January 31.
