Some lucky people who pre-ordered NVIDIA’s future boards were lucky enough to come across complacent dealers. In fact, some of them received RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super cards in advance. While it’s always good news to receive your gear early, in the hardware world it’s usually accompanied by a few inconveniences. In this case, the lack of an official driver!
RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super received early for some!
As you can see, even if NVIDIA hasn’t officially launched its cards yet, some are already in distribution. Some buyers already have their 4070 Ti Super and 4080 Super in their hands, as can be seen above. However, this reception, which should make owners very happy, is accompanied by a minor inconvenience: the lack of an official driver.
Nevertheless, this didn’t stop the owner of the 4070 Ti Super (LightMoisture on Reddit) from plugging the card into his PC and running it through a few benchmarks. As a result, the card scores 27,097 pts on Cinebench 2024, some 21% better than the 4070 Super. On V-Ray GPU, two results are published: 4,064 pts and 5,663 pts, scores 12% to 14% higher than the non-Super 4070 Ti, according to VideoCardz. Last but not least, the card is supported by GPU-Z.
As a reminder, the 4070 Ti Super will be launched tomorrow… At least, the tests will be published tomorrow. As for the RTX 4080 Super, we’ll have to wait until January 31 for the official launch!
