This time we go to the mid-range graphics card sector with the RTX 4060 Ti, which is once again in the news. Indeed, this model should offer a variation with 16 GB of VRAM. The latter should also feature a higher TBP of 5W!
RTX 4060 Ti: a version with 16 GB!
According to a document shared with its partners, NVIDIA is planning an RTX 4060 Ti with more memory: 16 GB in this case. This would lead to a change of GPU… Finally, a change of GPU variant. This model would then have an AD106-351 chip and not an AD106-350. This would lead to a slight increase in power consumption, we would gain a small +5W. The TBP of the card would then go from 160W to 165W.
However, one thing is not clear: the frequency of the memory. Indeed, we don’t know yet if this memory will run at 18 Gbps or if it will be slower.
Otherwise, despite this change of GPU variant, according to our colleagues there would be no change in characteristics. This model would still have 4352 cuda core and a memory bus of 128 bits. Finally, if the memory works at 18 Gbps, the total bandwidth would show 288 GB / s.
Finally, let us recall that the launch should take place on May 24 for the 8 Gb version!
