RTX 3070 Ti: a Zotac version uses NVIDIA ‘s GA102!
The new card in question is called RTX 3070Ti-8G6X Apocalypse GOC and it is a new version of an existing card in the brand’s catalog. This version is based on a GA102 GPU instead of the classic GA104 as was initially the case. On the other hand, the chip is seriously castrated since it loses no less than 4608 CUDA cores to meet the characteristics of the 3070 Ti.
On the other hand, there is no change in the card’s frequency. The GPU still runs at 1800 MHz. The same goes for the 8GB of GDDR6 still clocked at 19 Gbps. The only noticeable change is the TDP, which takes a few watts. At the same time, the GPU is bigger, even though it is seriously throttled.
Otherwise, the card itself offers a worked look with many white parts. The heatsink displays three fans and will occupy three slots in a case. On the back, a backplate is present with a nice little design.
Now, it only remains to be seen if we will find this kind of card on the European market. However, if we believe VideoCardz it is not planned.
