The small RTX 2060 12Gb from NVIDIA is about to be released and already, a French retailer lists the card on its website. The retailer lists two Ventus models signed MSI with two different prices.

RTX 2060 12Gb: the card listed at PC21.fr!

MSI RTX 2060 12 Go As a reminder, in its 12GB version, this RTX 2060 lands with the GPU its Super counterpart. We will find a TU106 chip with 2176 Cuda Core, 136 TMU and 64 ROP. From a frequency point of view, we can expect 1470 MHz base with a boost reaching 1650 MHz. Finally, the TDP is 185W.

However, the biggest change made by NVIDIA concerns the amount of VRAM embedded on the card. Indeed, we do not find 6 GB of GDDR6, but 12 GB. On the other hand, there is no change in frequency with the memory still clocked at 14 Gpbs. Moreover, there will be no change in the memory bus: 192 bits, and the same goes for the bandwidth which remains at 336 GB/s.

While the card should be launched very soon (it’s a matter of a few hours), a French retailer already lists this model on its site. Indeed, PC21.fr already lists MSI Ventus models at €528.19 including VAT and €645 including VAT. It remains to be seen what the real price of the card will be when it is launched. Obviously, according to Guru3D, NVIDIA does not seem to have communicated an MSRP and it is likely that the brand does not announce a suggested retail price… To be continued. Obviously, the price consistency of this RTX 2060 is to be compared with the price of its big sister, the same model, in RTX 3060…
