Small novelty on the side of the Akasa brand which proposes us its Riser Black x2 Mark IV. It is a PCIe riser working with the 4.0 standard. This accessory will allow you to mount your graphics card vertically in some cases.
Riser Black x2 Mark IV: a 20cm PCIe 4.0 riser!
With its new riser, the Akasa brand offers us a PCI express extension to the 4.0 standard. This riser has a total length of 20 cm with male and female connectors at 180°. Be careful though, depending on the case, a 90° female connector may be necessary. In short.
As you can see, the connectors are divided into seven distinct layers. Akasa also announces a high flexibility of its riser. This means that it can fit into the most cramped places. Moreover, its integral black color makes it easy to slip into our PCs discreetly.
Otherwise, this model is distinguished by a powerful shielding against electromagnetic interference. This avoids interference and therefore data loss, even on a connector used at full speed.
It only remains to talk about a sensitive point: the price. Indeed, depending on the riser model, this can vary from simple to double. Here, we are talking about £51.50, or about 60 euros… Still.
