It’s a busy day for us at the end of the NDA, with no less than four tests of the new AMD cards, the RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT, which we presented to you a few days ago. We’ll be reviewing AMD’s reference model, the RX 7800 XT, as well as the TUF Gaming RX 7700 XT OC, TUF Gaming RX 7800 XT OC and Powercolor’s Red Devil RX 7800 XT. We continue today’s tests with the TUF Gaming RX 7700 XT OC graphics card.

This card is aimed at the mid-range 1440p 60 FPS segment and is priced at 564.99 euros. As a reminder, the MSRP announced by AMD for the RX 7700 XT is $449, or 499 euros in France for the reference card. We therefore have a price difference of 65 euros compared with the reference board, which can be explained by the larger cooling system used by ASUS. As for the price of the TUF Gaming version of the RTX 4060 Ti, it averages 525 euros for the 8 GB version. This TUF Gaming RX 7700 XT OC model is positioned as a direct competitor to the NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti, despite NVIDIA’s claim that the card is designed for 1080p. We’ll find out for sure in our test.

We took advantage of this article to redo all our tests with the latest drivers available from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel. As you can see from our test protocol, all our graphics have just been updated!
Special thanks to ASUS for making this TUF Gaming RX 7800 XT OC available.
