New Sharkoon power supplies hit the market with the Rebel P30 Gold series. A range offering three blocks in line with current market trends: ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compatibility, with the addition of a 12VHPWR connector.
Rebel P30 Gold, the new Sharkoon power supplies unveiled!
With its new Rebel P30 Gold power supplies, Sharkoon offers us a trio of power supplies. All are in standard ATX format and measure 16 cm in depth. Power ratings are in line with current trends, with 850W, 1000W and 1300W units, all 80 Gold certified. The same goes for ATX 3.0 compliance and the presence of a 12VHPWR connector to power an RTX 40.
The electrical part features a full protection panel, and a single 12V rail. Its amperage will vary according to the power of the block. Otherwise, the whole system relies on a DC-DC voltage converter and resonant LLC circuits. And on the cooling side, a 135 mm semi-passive mill is also present.
Of course, there’s enough connectivity to power a modern configuration. There’s at least one 24-pin connector, two 4 4-pin connectors for the CPU and four PCIe 6 2 connectors for the graphics card. Of course, a single 12VHPWR is included, as are twelve SATA, two molex and a single floppy, although the latter two will require an adapter.
Currently on the market, you’ll have to turn to Alternate. The merchant offers 1300W black and 1000W white models at €246.90 and €225.90 respectively. However, the 1000W black and 850W versions are also available from €225 and €163 respectively.
