Razer Fujin, the ergo chair €400 more expensive than the competition!

The Razer brand is now offering us new chairs. However, the brand is targeting the ergonomic chair sector with its new Fujin series. Two chairs are on the program: the basic model and the Pro version!

Fujin, basic and Pro chairs for Razer!

From a design point of view, Razer doesn’t really show any originality, since the look of the chairs remains classic for an ergo model. We find a mesh fabric stretched over the back and seat. The whole is supported by an external aluminum alloy frame for the pro version. The basic model, on the other hand, is made of plastic… Well, nylon.

However, what interests us most in the case of an ergo chair is the richness of its adjustments. The basic chair will only allow adjustment of seat height, armrests and lumbar support. The Pro model, on the other hand, is a real feast for the eyes, as the height and depth of the lumbar support can be adjusted. The armrests are 4D rather than 3D, and there’s an adjustable headrest.

As far as prices are concerned, ergo chairs tend to be rather expensive, at least more so than silly gaming chairs. However, with Razer, we’re quickly reaching new heights, with the basic chair costing €699.99 and the Pro version €1199.99. How can we say that the prices are completely smoked? Especially since chairs like the ThunderX3 Yama 1 and Yama 5 offer the same settings, maybe a little more, for prices two to three times lower!
