A new case from Raijintek, unveiling its imposing Zofos Ultra. It’s a large-tower model offering a high capacity 3.5″ drive, with a total of 14 slots! Enough to create an attractive storage server!
Zofos Ultra: the next generation is here!
Clearly, this is no small case, measuring 254 (W) x 598 (D) x 597 (H) mm. And thanks to its combination of steel and tempered glass, it’s no lightweight, weighing in at 17 kg! That’s heavier than the Dark Base Pro 901 we recently tested!
That said, its dimensions enable it to accommodate all motherboard formats on the market. EEB, E-ATX and smaller models fit without a hitch. The same goes for CPU fans up to 190 mm high or graphics cards up to 370 mm in length.
If all baskets are in place, up to 14 3.5″ hard disks can be mounted. These baskets can be used for 2.5″ units with a capacity of 17 SSD/HDD. Finally, at the very top, there’s a 5.25″ optical drive bay!
Last but not least, up to fifteen 120mm fans can be integrated into the ventilation system, as opposed to seven 140mm fans. For watercooling, a 420 mm radiator can be mounted on the top or front panel. At the rear, the maximum is 140 mm, compared with 240 mm at the bottom.
All that remains now is to find out the price. However, the Evo version is currently priced at ~€350!
