Radeon RX 6750XT: only 2% better?

The RDNA2 refresh is announced and more or less imminent according to some sources. Even if leaks are rare, some new information reaches us confirming that some models are in the process of final validation. This is the case for the next RX 6750XT which is obviously a refresh of the RX 6700XT with a faster memory (probably clocked at 18 Gbps) and higher clock speeds. This RX 6750XT should be launched on May 10th. We expect a significant increase in performance from the boost of these two sliders.

RX 6750XT But the leak of the day (let’s admit it, only on GFXBench) is not enough to make us feel better for the weekend. Indeed, the results obtained in the Aztec Ruins High Tier test are 366.5 FPS, which is only 2% better than the “old” RX 6700 which performed the test under the same conditions. Hopefully this new card is still in the very early testing stage. The result and the test used must also be put into perspective. It is obviously not a regular source of comparison. However, we will not have to wait long to see other results as many cards are already in circulation, including in some editorial offices 😉 We will of course keep you informed and hope that in addition to the performance, the price and availability will also be good surprises…
