Asus announces a new motherboard with its Q670M-C-CSM, a micro-ATX model. Its particularity? It is intended for the business sector and is equipped, in particular, with functions related to security.
Q670M-C-CSM : a business oriented card !
With this new model, the Asus brand offers us a rather poor card visually speaking… But clearly, this is not the goal here, quite the contrary. In this sector, we will privilege security and reliability and this is what the brand does. This model complies with the NIST SP 800-193 standard and is certified by NIST SP 800-147. There is also a TPM module, Secure Boot, Asus Boot Defender, etc.
Otherwise, this card has a micro-ATX format and is equipped with an Intel Q670 chipset and a LGA-1700 socket. It is therefore ready for Core i Alder Lake, especially since it has four DDR5 memory slots. The card will be able to take up to 128 GB of memory clocked at 4800 MT/s non-ECC.
The rest of the connectivity features a PCIe x16 4.0 connector as well as two PCIe x1 3.0. The storage part offers six SATA III and two M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4. A third M.2 in key E is included and will support PCIe and CNVi modules.
At the back, the card has two PS2 ports for keyboard and mouse. As for the video outputs, we have the right to two DisplayPort and one HDMI. The USB part is equipped with four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0. Finally, for the network, we have an Ethernet in Intel I219LM with Asus LANGuard and the audio part is driven by a Realtek 7.1 chip.
