Cooler Master updates its small cubic case for micro-ATX configurations. The brand now offers its Q300L V2, an updated version. So, what’s new?

Q300L V2: what’s new?

Cooler Master Q300L V2

First and foremost, the dimensions are identical to those of the previous model: 230 (W) x 287 (D) x 383 (H) mm. This format will enable it to accommodate a micro-ATX or mini-ITX card only. However, there’s plenty of room for a 16 cm-deep ATX power supply. As for the graphics card, it can reach a length of 36 cm, compared with 15.9 cm for the CPU cooler.

New features include a new design with wider perforations than on the previous model. These should allow better airflow, especially as the dust filters have also been redesigned. The control panel is also updated, this time integrating USB-C 3.2 Gen2 (20 Gbps).

Otherwise, there’s no change to the ventilation. The front panel can still accommodate two 120/140 mm fans or a 240 mm watercooling radiator. At the top, we also have two 120 mm slots, as opposed to one at the bottom and rear.

Finally, the storage section remains fairly classic, with the possibility of mounting two 2.5″ drives and a 3.5″ hard disk.

For the moment, we have no idea of the price. However, the bill should be pretty sweet since the Q300L v1 was a case sold for around fifty euros.
