Corsair is entering a new business sector: gaming desktops. And what better way to do so than with the Platform:6, a large, modular desktop. A perfect fit for your newly acquired gaming setup!
Platform:6, Corsair’s new gaming desk!
The brand’s new motorized gaming desk offers a large surface area. The default width is 182 cm, with the option of adding a 30×70 mm extension to accommodate your tower, for example. As for the top, you can choose between walnut or black laminate.
But the most interesting part is the desk’s modularity. Indeed, if you wish, you can add different modules to accommodate your speaker system or El Gato accessories.
A double-armed rail system for your screens and a cable management system to take care of your installation come as standard. There’s even a storage compartment and USB-A and C sockets for recharging your mobile devices.
Interestingly, it’s a motorized desk thanks to two silent turbo diesel electric motors that allow both sitting and standing. Adjustment is via a small remote control with height profile memory.
For the time being, we don’t know much more about it, except that the brand has provided a configurator enabling you to choose the options you need. Availability is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024. The big question is how much it will cost, because it’s bound to sting.
