G400A, the successor to the P400A!

Phanteks G400AThis case is a reference point in the brand’s style, with its characteristic front panel. What’s more, the front panel is made of mesh, which maximises airflow for the four 140 mm fans fitted as standard, three of which are at the front.

Internally, the motherboard tray will offer enough space to mount references in E-ATX format (280 mm wide) to the maximum. There is also plenty of space for other components. The graphics card will be up to 415 mm long, while the CPU cooler will be 184 mm high. Finally, as far as the power supply is concerned, everything’s fine, with a depth of 270 mm under the power supply covers.

As far as storage is concerned, the brand has opted for a simple hard drive cage offering two 2.5″/3.5″ slots. Clearly, if you have big needs, you’ll have to rely on the M.2 slots on your motherboard.

However, you’ll be able to get plenty of ventilation, as there are plenty of slots for fans. In addition to the three slots on the front, there’s one on the rear, three on the top and three more on the power supply cover. In total, you’ll be able to fit up to ten fans! As for watercooling, there’s a 360 mm slot at the top of the case and a second 120 mm slot at the rear, and that’s it. It’s a pity, because we were hoping for a 420 mm block support, given the fan compatibility.
