New AIO with LCD screen from MSI: the MPG CoreLiquid D!

0

A new series of watercooling kits from MSI. On the program, the company is refreshing its MPG series with the MPG CoreLiquid D. These AIOs benefit from an LCD screen to display a variety of functions.

MPG CoreLiquid D: a new batch ofAIOs for MSI!

MSI MPG CoreLiquid DMSI’s new series comes in two sizes: 240 mm and 360 mm. The series is based on seventh-generation Asetek AIOs. So don’t expect any leaps and bounds in performance over the previous generation of kit.

Finally, the main change is in the design of the pump, which has been given greater attention to detail. As for the screen, it switches toIPS, with all the advantages that brings: better visibility, better contrast, etc. However, the size remains unchanged: 2.4″, but in landscape format this time.

The pump still benefits from an additional fan, which will cool the elements located around the socket. This will help cool the motherboard’s power supply and/or RAM stages.

Ventilation doesn’t seem to have moved an inch. It still relies on 120 mm Torx 4.0 fans. However, the data sheet is not very precise, and simply gives the airflow: 77.4 CFM. Nevertheless, if we add the K series, we find speeds reaching 2500 rpm with a static pressure of 4.29 mmH2O… That’s pushing it!

As for availability, it’s already on the shelves. Expect to pay €210 for the 240 mm version, compared with €240 for the 360 mm version!
