Now a little tour on the side of the brand with the dragon: MSI, which announces the arrival of a new power supply. This time, the brand hits the high power with a 1000W MPG A1000G power supply!
MPG A1000G : a 1000W power supply !
With this new reference, the brand offers us a rather neat reference aesthetically speaking. Indeed, we find grey inserts with the MPG logo on a black shell as well as the dragon, the logo of the brand. Similarly, the fan grill is worked in a very aesthetic way.
If we go back a little more into the heart of the matter, we will retain the power of this block which displays all the same 1000W. The certification is not in rest either, even if we can find better since it is a good 80+ Gold. Finally, the brand relies on a fully modular cable management.
Internally, the block has a fan with a semi-passive operating mode at the touch of a button. Thus, up to 40% load, the mill will not turn. Otherwise, MSI puts forward Japanese capacitors in 105°C and solid capacitors. Finally, we can count on a single 12V rail of 83.3A.
The connectivity is also complete and will allow to feed big modern configurations. There are two EPS12V 4+4 pin connectors for the CPU and seven PCIe 6+2 pin connectors. The storage/peripheral part is not left out with twelve SATA, four molex and one floppy!
For the moment, we do not know the selling price yet.
