In addition to the five MP600 Pro NH corsair announces three SSDs belonging to the MP600 GS series. We are talking about mid-range models whose capacities are far from equaling those of the NH. Indeed, we stop at 2 TB here.
MP600 GS: a mid-range SSD from Corsair!
With this series, we find three SSDs in M.2 format also using a PCIe 4.0 interface. Nevertheless, if we still find 3D TLC NAND type memory, the controller is less good. Indeed, we go from a Phison E18 forthe Pro NH models to a Phison PS2021-E21T more restrictive on the data rates… But more affordable.
This is felt on the performance with these random flows slashed. The latter show a maximum of 4.8 GB/s in sequential reading against 4.5 GB/s in sequential writing. The random performance is 580k IOPS in reading and 1 million IOPS in writing at most.
As for endurance, Corsair announces 300 TBW for the 500GB model against 600 TBW for the 1TB version and, finally, 1200 TBW for the 2TB storage.
All that remains is to talk about the price, which is $57.99 / €74.99 for the 500 GB model against $92.99 / €124.99 for the 1 TB. Unfortunately, the price of the 2TB version is not yet known.
