Geometric Future unveils its Model 2 Mini. This model follows in the footsteps of the Model 6 and Model 8, as it arrives in a compact format. However, it’s not without a certain modularity and style – far from it!
Model 2 Ark: modular ITX!
The program includes several colors: white, black/gold and silver. In gray, the case swaps its mesh panels for tempered glass ones.
Overall, the Model 2 Ark is a fairly generous case. It measures 280 (W) x 330 (D) x 440 (H) mm.
Internally, we’ll be able to install an ITX or micro-ATX motherboard. What’s more, its tray can be adjusted in both height and width, which is very practical, depending on the size of your graphics card in particular.
Speaking of which, the graphics card can be up to 35 cm long and occupy up to three expansion slots!
The cooling section can be quite substantial. In fact, this reference has seven 120 mm fan slots. There are two plates for three fans on the sides, and a final slot at the top. Compatibility with 360 mm watercooling radiators is assured. As for air cooling, depending on the configuration, the heatsink can be up to 172 mm high!
The power supply can be positioned in a number of ways, but the support of SFX/L and ATX blocks is particularly noteworthy. Depending on its orientation in the case, the block can be up to 18 cm deep!
Finally, the storage section unfortunately remains very conventional, with two slots, one for 3.5″/2.5″ and a second for 2.5″ only.
Finally, the case’s connectivity is entirely remote, taking its place in a small hub. This will connect via the USB-C header on the motherboard. It provides access to three USB-A, one USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jacks.
For the moment, we don’t know its retail price. However, the brand’s other models are available via Amazon France. You’ll find them in the comparator above.
