MSI announces a new watercooling kit belonging to its MAG CoreLiquid series. This new model is none other than the MAG CoreLiquid 280R V2. It is a fully AM5 and LGA-1700 compatible model out of the box!
MAG CoreLiquid 280R V2: an MSI kit for LGA-1700 and AM5 sockets !
With this new kit, the MSI brand announces a new AIO that will be installed on the AM5 and LGA-1700 sockets from Intel. Moreover, the waterblock benefits from a logo that can be oriented on 270° in order to have the dragon always in the right direction.
We find a model in 280 mm that will host a duo of fans in 140 x 25 mm. These will operate from 500 RPM to 1800 RPM. If the static pressure is not yet known, we know that the air flow will reach 84.36 CFM.
Otherwise, as for the other models of the MAG CoreLiquid series, we are entitled to a remote pump. This one is located in the radiator. It will operate at 4200 RPM while benefiting from a ceramic bearing.
Finally, we end by mentioning the presence of aRGB lighting on the waterblock and on the fans.
Concerning the bill, it should count about 135 € according to our colleagues.
