Lian Li announces a new PC case in mid-tower format: the Lancool 216. It is about a case with mesh front for a better breathability. Also, internally, we will find two 160 mm fans as well as an RGB hub and for the fans!
Lancool 216: a case that looks very well equipped !
With this model, the Asian brand offers a case measuring 235 (W) x 480.9 (D) x 491.7 (H) mm. The construction is mainly based on steel for the chassis, mesh for the front and tempered glass for the side window.
Internally, there is room for a motherboard in E-ATX format at maximum. The position of the latter can be adjusted according to the type of CPU cooling. Indeed, you can place your motherboard in a higher or lower position depending on whether you have an aircooling or a watercooling fan.
The storage capacity is not left out since you can mount up to six 2.5″ units and two 3.5″ hard disks.
On the graphics card side, we have a maximum space of 392 mm, which allows the installation of large cards. Nevertheless, all expansion slots can be tilted vertically. Likewise, it will even be possible to add a 120mm fan to the back of the slots to improve cooling. As far as the ventilation is concerned, this Lancool 216 comes with three fans installed as standard. We count then a 140 mm mounted at the back as well as two 160 mm in aspiration at the front! If you want, you can add 3×120/2×140 mm on the top and two 120 mm on the power supply cover.
As for the watercooling, this translates into a 360 mm radiator support at the top and at the front. At the back, a 120/140 mm model can be mounted as well as a 240 mm one on the power supply cover… Depending on the position of the motherboard.
Finally, we will not forget to mention the presence of a removable mounting rail at the top. It will facilitate the mounting of fans and radiator. In addition, we can count on a hub for the management of lighting and ventilation for four devices. Finally, it will be possible to choose the location of the control panel: in the top of the case or on the left side!
As for the price, it will cost $109.99 against $114.99 for the white version. A non-RGB version will be available for $99.99.
