Lamptron announces a new aircooling heatsink. The ST060 comes with a massive LCD display on top and offers 1080p resolution. The price, however, is outrageous!
Lamptron ST060: a cooler, a 1080p display and a big price!
With this new heatsink, the brand has opted for a double-tower format, with large dimensions of 128 (W) x 153 (D) x 168 (H) mm. Clearly, this is not a model that will fit into every case on the market!
On top, it boasts an absolutely outstanding LCD display, with a 6″ screen displaying 1080p. Of all the products of this type, this is clearly the one with the biggest bang for its buck. Nevertheless, this screen makes it impossible to raise the front fan, so be careful when choosing your RAM!
As for the radiator, it features two cooling towers, each crossed by a total of six 6 mm copper heat pipes. They also meet at a copper base, also nickel-plated.
This model will be compatible with Intel motherboards in LGA-115x/1200/1700 and even LGA-2000, thanks to its ability to dissipate 260W of TDP. On the AMD side, we’ll have to make do with the AM4 and AM5.
Unfortunately, the integration of this display will have a major impact on the product’s price. The latter now stands at $273!
