Corsair announces a new version of its K70 TKL keyboard. The latter now has ultra-sensitive optical OPX switches. In short, here is the new K70 RGB TKL Optical.

K70 RGB Optical: new switches in the program!

Corsair K70 RGB TKL Optical

In the program, we find the same K70 RGB TKL Champion Series that we tested some time ago time back. In general, the keyboard has no numeric keypad, TKL format obliges. However, it has everything you need to seduce you with its PBT keys in particular. Similarly, it features an aluminum plate, dedicated multimedia keys and a sound management wheel.

As a reminder, this version benefits from a polling rate of 8000 Hz via the technology provided by Axon. Internally, we will find 8 MB of storage to save up to 50 profiles. Ditto for the N-Key Rollover or the integral antighosting which are present.

However, to improve responsiveness, Corsair opts for its OTX switches that we recently tested with the K100 Midnight Gold. In broad terms, they feature a 1mm emphasis point with a linear feel. The life span will be important, very important even with its 150 million activations on paper.

Now we just have to wait to know its price and availability. This model is not yet listed on the French branch of the Corsair website.
