Jonsbo launches a whole new batch of cases with its D41 and D31 models. We are talking about a total of eight new cases (sixteen if we count the white versions) offering a mesh or solid front panel with or without screen… Because yes, this is the particularity of these references: to integrate a screen of 8″ in frontage!
D31 : the smallest of the two, the µATX version !
Finally, the D31 is a case that we heard about at the end of 2022, but this time it arrives in Europe.
Anyway, we are dealing with a compact case measuring 205 (W) x 440 (D) x 347.5 (H) mm. These dimensions allow it to accommodate a motherboard in µATX format as well as a graphics card from 330 mm to 400 mm in length depending on the size of the power supply. And for the cpu cooler, we have up to 168 mm of height.
The ventilation can be consistent with up to eight fans in 120 mm. Three can be mounted at the top and bottom. Finally, a slot is available in the front and in the top!
The D41, the bigger of the two!
Nevertheless, the big novelty will concern the D41 which adopts a more imposing format. The case measures 205 (W) x 440 (D) x 392 (H) mm. Inside, it will be possible to install a motherboard in ATX, µATX and mini-ITX format. Moreover, we will find the same limitations regarding the support of graphics cards, CPU fans and power supply.
If the fan capacities do not change and we still find a 360 mm radiator support at the top and bottom, the storage part evolves. The D41 will be able to accommodate up to three 2.5″ SSDs and two 3.5″ hard drives. For comparison, the D31 is limited to one 3.5″ slot and two 2.5″.
The prices!
Finally, what will determine the price will be the front panel material: mesh or steel and the presence or not of a screen. Thus, the basic D31 costs 54,90 € against 59,90 € in mesh version. With screen, it will cost 114.90 € whether it is with metal mesh in front or not.
The D41 has a slightly higher price tag: 59.90 € in metal against 64.90 € in mesh. The versions with screens are negotiated 114,90 € in steel against 119,90 € in mesh.
Note that the screen measures 8″ diagonally and offers a resolution of 1280×800. The connection to the system is via an HDMI socket and will therefore behave as a secondary screen!
