Small novelty at ID-Cooling which offers us a new cooler. The brand announces its IS-47S, an ultra compact top flow heatsink of only 47 mm height. Another model adapted to small configurations.
IS-47S: a very compact top flow from ID-Cooling!
With this new heatsink, the brand announces an ultra compact model with a very limited height. The 47 mm of this reference will allow it to fit without difficulty in a very large majority of cases. Otherwise, this model has a width of 99 mm and a depth of 93 mm. The weight is quite high considering the format: 450g. For comparison, a Burst Assassin 120 from Thermalrightis 510g.
The radiator itself features a nickel-plated copper base from which four 6 mm copper heat pipes emerge. They run through a dense network of aluminum fins, but we don’t know their exact number.
Concerning the ventilation, we have the right to a small fan of 92 mm. This one will run from 800 RPM to 3600 RPM, a rather large rotation range, even for the format. Anyway, at full speed, the airflow will be 40 CFM and the static pressure of 2.28 mmH2O.
For the moment, no price, but we know that it will fit on Intel LGA-1000 and AMD AM4 sockets!
