Just this week, there were rumors that Intel ARC Alchemist graphics would be launched, at least at the high end, sometime between early May and early June. But in reality, the light could come on May 10, when Intel will host a two-day conference with several keynotes and commercial announcements. The event is soberly titled Intel Vision 2022.
Intel Vision 2022: ARC cards unveiled?
This conference is accessible only by registration and if the blue do not communicate clearly on the content of this event, commercial and technical information on ARC graphics cards are clearly expected. Officially, Intel confirmed earlier this year that Arc graphics cards for desktop PCs are now expected in the second quarter, but did not provide any specific date. This event could be the right occasion even if it seems to be much more “business” oriented while the expectation of the general public for these cards is strong. That’s why in the meantime, other rumors mention more spectacular actions during the Computex (from May 24th to 27th). Unfortunately, Intel’s delay in launching its graphics cards will force it to reveal itself at the same time as Nvidia prepares the arrival of its new RTX 40 generation. It’s hard to say if this will have an impact, especially by putting consumers in a waiting position to make up their minds in the last months of 2022.
