Intel ARC high-end GPUs not before June?

We were all expecting a lot from Intel’s arrival on the graphics card market but we have to admit that the start is surprisingly similar to what its peers have been doing for several months. Thus, the ARC GPUs are totally invisible for the moment, even though they were expected for the beginning of the year. Worse, the high-end versions could arrive only in June, a few weeks before Nvidia launches (theoretically) its new generation.

High-end Intel ARC GPUs at Computex?

According to the latest rumors, Intel could wait for Computex to present its high-end GPUs Intel ARC Alchemist to launch them commercially a few weeks later, in June. Many potential customers are eyeing these high-end versions, including a card based on the Intel DG2-512EU graphics chip with 16GB of GDDR6 . Several indiscretions place this card at a performance level between a 3070Ti and an RTX 3080. No one really has a serious explanation as to why Intel is late. It is believed that the blues are still tweaking their graphics drivers and software solutions ( including the DLSS competitor, Intel XeSS ) to really compete with Nvidia. The fact remains that the longer the launch is delayed, the more Intel takes the risk of an unfavorable schedule with the arrival of the RTX 4000, which will undoubtedly push consumers to adopt a waiting situation.
