Intel ARC graphics card: a first glimpse in benchmarks

We are talking more and more about the future Intel ARC graphics cards. The models and their specifications are starting to become clearer. However, we unfortunately have very little information on their real capabilities, and scores to go on in the meantime.

Intel ARC DG2 graphics card spotted in Ashes of The Singularity benchmark?

Today, was spotted by @TUM_APISAK, a score of an Intel Xe graphics card ( probably DG2) on the benchmark of the game Ashes of The Singularity.

score intel DG2 AOTS : 12500This score was obtained with an i9 12900K that we were able to test, as well as 32 GB of RAM. Concerning the game settings, we are on the preset: Medium 1080p with DirectX 12. In these conditions, the score is 12500 with 126.9 frames per second. For comparison, the card is slightly below the non-overclocked RX 6700 XT and RTX 3080 Ti. Rumors often hint at a positioning against the RTX 3060/3070 for the top of the Intel range. This model seems to be more powerful, so we can expect this level of power for the price of an RTX 3060/3070 in the future Intel range. However, it may also be a score obtained with an engineering model superior to those wishing to be marketed.

classement leak intel DG2 : proche de la rx 6700xtIt should also be noted that the results should be taken with great care. Indeed, the scores of the Ashes of The Singularity benchmark scores vary enormously depending on the presets and versions, but they give a first range of results. We now hope to have more information at CES, where Intel has planned to hold a conference on January 4th.
