Intel Arc Gaming desktop graphics cards will officially arrive in the United States in the next few weeks, indicating an acceleration in Intel’s schedule. The rookies should take the opportunity to launch an original marketing process, using a big truck fitted out as a gaming house. This truck will make its first appearance at the end of September at the LANfest in the USA in Colorado (from September 30 to October 3).

Intel ARC Gaming: a worrying launch delay
For the moment, if the marketing plan is validated, if the decoration of the truck is ready, the interior equipment is not yet finalized even if it seems that Intel is preparing to equip the truck with 30 NUC 12 Extreme (Dragon Canyon) equipped with a desktop graphics card. So it is very likely that we will have some announcements or formalizations by the end of the summer. In the last few hours, new leaks about higher-end GPUs for laptops have emerged. For now, only desktop versions of the small GPU are available in China, limiting the objective opinions we could have on the card. But Intel remains far behind its own schedule, and one could even say that there is urgency with regard to AMD and Nvidia’s schedule.
Nvidia can’t make room for RTX 40
On this last topic, Nvidia seems to be in trouble at the moment regarding the timing of the launch of its next generation RTX 40. The problem is not technical or logistical, but rather related to the stock volume of RTX 30s. The current cards have not been in stock for weeks. Some indiscretions from a major European wholesaler confirm that the greens are deploying a support plan to lower the price of RTX 3080 to 3090 (including Ti versions). The most pessimistic are considering that Nvidia will not release its new generation in Q4 as envisaged.
