Intel Arc Alchemist likely to be delayed until Q2 2022

While the initial release schedule for the Intel Arc Alchemist graphics cards was clearly announced at CES as arriving this first quarter of 2022, with staggered launches from March to April, the latest rumors seem to indicate a change of course.

Intel Arc Alchemist graphics cards pushed back a few weeks?

In the reasons that are mentioned to explain this postponement, the first is Intel’s desire to ensure that there will be plenty of stock for end customers. But driver finalization and reliability issues are also mentioned in the latest MLID video as a reason for the delayed official release.

 Intel Arc Alchemist Intel has made the mention “Q1 2022” disappear on its communications, an episode not really harmless and therefore may confirm this delay. However, several of our sources continue to mention a release in March. But maybe Intel reserves an official communication on this period by pushing back the commercial launch by a month before having coherent stocks.

Towards a “Paper Launch” in March

The most pessimistic people evoke a launch of the cards on laptops for the month of April while the desktop cards could start with the high-end model only in May or June.
