Intel Arc A770M and A550M: not so bad?

0

A leak of 3DMark scores for the Arc A770M and A550M GPUs has been leaked on the networks. These two cards must evolve in the “fat” of the market concerning gaming. They are therefore expected to offer decent performance against the competition. If there are still many grey areas surrounding the real performance of the next Intel cards, including the figures we are going to talk about, their presence means that these cards have now entered the testing phase and that we are getting closer to the moment of truth.

Intel ARC A770M at the level of an RTX 3070M ?

Concerning the A770M, it was tested under Fire Strike Extreme where it got 13244 points ( Graphics section ). The card was associated with a Core i7-12700H CPU and could come from a NUC laptop designed by Intel. The result delivered is about the same as for laptop RTX 3070 coupled with the same Core i7-12700H according to 3DMark database. As for the Arc A550M, the results raise many questions. According to several previous reports, this card could be close to an RTX 3050 Ti. Unfortunately, while the tested card scored 6017 points in 3DMark Time Spy using the old 1726 driver, this test was run with Intel APO (Advanced Performance Optimizations) enabled, a routine that boosts the performance of Intel cards in synthetic tests. If this information confirms that Intel is making progress, we know that the biggest job is to optimize the drivers for games. And on this subject, Intel has already communicated some information about the A770M:
