Coming from VideoCardz, which as usual manages to get the deck slides provided to the press several days before the end of the NDA, here is the leak of the next processors that Intel will release at the event scheduled for May 10 and 11. These will bring on mobile the “first 16-core CPU” and will therefore surpass the H and HK range present until now with “only” 14 cores at most.

Seven SKUs are planned in this range with two i5, three i7 and two i9. These are desktop versions placed on a BGA package, thanks to which the brand will offer PCIe 5.0 with 16 lines and 20 lines in PCIe 4.0 (12 in 3.0).

The PBP (formerly TDP) will be 55W with a MTP (PL2) of 157W for all models. Like the desktop versions, all processors will support CPU frequency (P-core and E-core) and memory (DDR5)overclocking. The only “shadow” in the picture, the HX are cut in half their iGPU, now reaching 16 EU (against 32).

The first laptops with Alder Lake HX should be announced in the wake of the processors.
