i9 13900KS : 5% better than the i9 13900K in single thread !

Next CPU to be launched by Intel: the Core i9 13900KS. Basically, it’s an i9 13900K, but without integrated graphics. And if we talk about it today, it’s because of its Cinebench R23 scores. These place it ahead of its “K” counterpart!

i9 13900KS: up to 5% better than the 13900K!

Of course, it should be said that all this is the result of a leak on the Internet. The results may therefore change between now and the launch of the CPU next January. However, the leaker at the origin of this leak seems to have proven himself so…

Intel Core i9 13900KS score

Anyway, we find here Cinebench R23 scores in single-core and multi-core. These are 2366 pts and 40998 pts respectively. If we compare them to the 2243 pts/39689 pts of an i9 13900K, we get a 5% increase in single-core against 3% in multi-core.

This improvement of the scores would be above all related to an increase of the operating frequencies. Compared to the 13900K, this KS model has a Turbo max frequency, on one core, higher by 200 MHz. The same applies to the performance cores, which are also 200 MHz faster. However, this does not help the TDP, which increases from 125W to 150W.

Now we just have to wait for the launch of the CPU, which should take place on January 12, 2023. As for the price, a price increase is not excluded in front of the 13900K.
