An i9-13900KF at 6.2Ghz with a simple AIO?

A smart guy was able to get his hands on an Intel Core i9-13900KF processor for sale (we are talking about a commercial version and not ES or binned) and push it without any problem to 6.2Ghz with a simple 360mm AIO liquid cooling. This is a model Corsair iCUE H150I RGB Elite that was used so nothing crazy. The rest of the configuration is based around an ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 APEX motherboard and a 16GB DDR5 kit made of two G.Skill DDR5 6000MHz CL36 chips. Used under Cinebench R23, the processor was able to reach a frequency of 6.20 GHz on a single core with a voltage of 1.52v. The other very important data is that at this speed, the test session took place at a maximum temperature of 75ºC.

i9-13900KF When this i9-13900KF was measured for its multicore performance under the same R23, it obtained a score of 41,940 points to compare with the results of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, which is also equipped with an AiO 360mm system and obtained 37,700 points. During this multicore test with the i9-13900KF, the processor consumed up to 302W of power, reaching a maximum temperature of 90ºC.

We must take into account that this overclocking was done with the greatest simplicity with “classic” hardware, which shows the good capabilities of this new generation. We will obviously provide more information on the subject in the next few hours.
