Hyte’s X50 is a case that we discovered at Computex on the brand’s stand. Since then, this model has been available for pre-order only, before being definitively launched by its manufacturer today. Prices are, of course, well known: $129.99 for the Air version versus $159.99 with a curved tempered glass panel!

Hyte X50: case launch!

Hyte X50As a reminder, the X50 is a case featuring an original design with rounded curves. Its dimensions are 255 (W) x 510 (D) x 485 (H) mm.

Inside, the case benefits from a slightly different layout than we’re used to seeing, with the power supply positioned at the top. The motherboard is positioned just below. The layout is similar to that of Antec’s P120 Crystal!

In any case, this model will accommodate motherboards up to E-ATX format. The graphics card will be up to 430 mm long, with a width of 160 mm. As for the CPU cooling unit, it has a height clearance of 170 mm, compared with a depth of 223 mm for the power supply.

The case will accommodate a powerful fan with ten 120 mm slots, while watercooling radiators stop at 360 mm on both the front and side of the motherboard.

Finally, we’d like to point out that this case comes in two versions, the first called air, with a full mesh panel. The aim is to let the machine breathe as much as possible, with a body made almost entirely of mesh that allows heat to escape naturally. In contrast, the original X50 offers an unobstructed view of your components, with curved side glass extending right to the top of the case!

We remind you of the price: $129.99 for the Air version, $159.99 for the tempered glass version.
