HX6240: a fan unit with 240W TDP from Jonsbo!

At Jonsbo, we find a new single tower heatsink rather imposing and strong. Indeed, this HX6240, is capable, according to the brand, of managing CPUs whose TDP goes up to 240W. Enough to cool down big models!

HX6240: a big dual tower that can handle TDP of 240W!

Jonsbo HX6240With this model, we have the right to a neat fan, as usual with Jonsbo. Indeed, the latter displays a first fin in brushed aluminum with the logo of the brand. The whole radiator and fan is completely black which gives it a very stealthy look.

Otherwise, concerning these dimensions, we have something quite imposing with 120 (W) x 105 (D) x 162 (H) mm. So we have a heatsink a little higher than the latest products which are a little less than 160 mm high.

The heatsink has an interesting number of heat pipes since we have six of 6 mm. These are located at the level of a copper base which, by the way, is slightly off-center so as not to conflict with the RAM.

For the ventilation, we find a fan in 120 mm powered by PWM. This one works from 700 RPM to 1800 RPM. At full speed, the airflow will reach 83.04 CFM when the static pressure rises to 2.68 mmH2O. For those who are allergic to noise, it will be possible to limit it to 1100 RPM. At this speed, the air flow drops: 45.56 CFM, as well as the pressure: 0.86 mmH2O.

For the moment, no selling price is known, but we know that it is compatible with the LGA-1700 and the LGA-1000. In AMD, we find the classic AM4, AM3+ and older.

This way to the Jonsbo datasheet!
