Hanbo, Kunai, Katan… Razer launches into PC components !

At Razer, it’s a party because the brand announces a lot of new products. Among them, we can mention names like Hanbo, Kunai or Katana. In fact, these are components intended for the world of the PC since the brand is trying to break into this sector. And for this, it offers AIO-type watercooling, fans and a power supply.

Kunai Chroma: Razer fans in 120 mm and 140 mm!

Razer Kunai ChromaWith its Kunai, the brand with snakes attacks the PC fan market with models in 120 and 140 mm. Of course, an RGB lighting is part of the game in the form of a border around the frame. At Razer, who says RGB, also says support by the Synapse software!

In terms of characteristics, the brand announces that its 120 mm will run from 0 RPM to 2200 RPM. At full speed, the airflow generated will be 52.44 CFM and the static pressure will reach 1.35 mmH2O. On the other hand, the 140 mm has a rotation range between 500 RPM and 1500 RPM. In addition, the airflow and pressure are up with 103.43 CFM and 1.42 mmH2O respectively.

Interestingly, these fans can be connected in series: up to eight mills!

Hanbo: AIO watercooling kits in 360 mm and 240 mm!

Razer HanboAfter the fans, it is the turn of the AIO to make their appearance. The brand offers two sizes of radiator with 240 mm and 360 mm. Of course, the RGB lighting is always present on the fans, but also on the pump.

Besides, we have a product that seems to be visually worked. Especially at the level of the radiator which is square with a small logo of the brand on the edge. On the pump side, it seems that the mounting system is original Asetek, however, this remains to be confirmed.

Similarly, we have no more information on the ventilation used although it seems to be Kunai fans, we will not put our hand to it.

Katana Chroma: Razer blocks from 750W to 1200W in 80+ Platinum!

Razer Katana ChromaWith this series, the brand will offer us a series of power supplies whose powers are between 750W and 1200W. Likewise, we can count on a large certification with 80+ Platinum and a fully modular cable management. Moreover, we wonder about the type of cable chosen: flat and black, sheathed or sheathed strand by strand.

Finally, we know that we can count on the presence of an RGB fan. Just like the Hanbo and Kunai, the power supply remains compatible with Synapse!

And the controller for the fans!

Razer Fan controlerFinally, we end with the last product of the brand, the fan controller. With this, you can manage the speed of eight PWM fans. The controller can be easily inserted into your PC as it has a 2.5″ format, the same format as a classic SSD.

Concerning the connection, no panic because it will only require a SATA plug and a USB 2.0 cable to connect to your motherboard. Yes, this controller has Razer Synapse support to adjust the speed of the fans connected to it. On the other hand, it will not support RGB lighting of your peripherals.

What about prices?

Finally, we end with some prices since not everything is available yet unfortunately. Kunai Chroma fans are available individually or in packs of 3. Solo prices are €49.99 and €54.99 for the 120mm and 140mm respectively. In pack, it will be necessary to count 139,99 € and 159,99 € for the 12 cm and 14 cm.

The price of the controller is also known and it will cost no less than 54.99 €. This is clearly not cheap for a fan hub, even with software support behind it.

Finally, the price of the Hanbo Chroma AIOs and Katana Chroma power supplies are still unknown. However, the launch will take place in November. To be continued.
