NZXT renews its H5 series of cases with two versions: the H5 Elite and H5 Flow. If the first one is positioned on the mid-range segment of the brand, the second one is more focused on entry-level. Moreover, they will replace the current H510 series! But what exactly is changing?

First of all, we will remember the increased dimensions. The dimensions go from 210 (W) x 428 (D) x 460 (H) mm for the H510 to 227 (W) x 446 (D) x 464 (H) mm for the H5.

Another weight change, this new series comes with a better support for watercooling radiators. Indeed, we have, now, the possibility to install a 240 mm radiator in the top, against a 120 mm for the old series. On the other hand, at the front, we remain compatible 280 mm.

On the other hand, with the rise of SSDs in M.2 format, the American brand sacrifices storage slots. From now on, it will be necessary to be satisfied with a plate of two places: 1x 2,5″ and a second 2,5″/3,5″.

Finally, the Elite version is equipped with RGB lighting via two 140mm fans placed on the front. Note that a lighting management module is present and that it is compatible with CAM. The Flow version will replace the tempered glass panel with a perforated one and will lose one fan as well as the RGB side. On the other hand, both fans benefit from a small 120 mm mill at the bottom of the case. It is positioned to directly water the graphics card.

For the price, it will be necessary to count 149,99 € for the Elite version against 109,99 € for the Flow model. By the way, our test of the Flow is available soon!
