Phanteks continues to expand its catalog of components for custom watercooling. Today we learn of the launch of two new elements. We have a new tank with the Glacier R260 and a new waterblock with the Glacier C370!
Glacier C370, the new waterblock from Phanteks!
With its new waterblocks, Phanteks offers models for Intel and AMD platforms. These are compatible with LGA-1700/1200/115x and AM4/AM5 sockets on the AMD side.
As you can see, two colors are offered, one with a transparent cover and black parts. The other features silver-colored metal parts, while the acrylic areas have a frosted effect.
Otherwise, Phanteks communicates an enlarged micro-wing area to cover the entire CPU. These are 4 mm high, 0.4 mm thick and 0.4 mm apart. All this is machined directly onto a nickel-plated copper base.
Finally, in terms of dimensions, the Intel block is more compact than the one designed for AMD platforms. Its dimensions are 94 (W) x 94 (D) x 31.15 (H) mm, while the AMD version measures 90 (W) x 110 (D) x 18.4 (H) mm.
Glacier R260: a new tank!
With the Glacier R260, Phanteks offers a choice of black or white colors. Likewise, the tank can be purchased on its own or in combination with a D5 pump installed as standard. In this case, the pump will deliver 1500 l/h with a water column of 3.9 m.
Otherwise, in terms of dimensions, the tank measures 260 (W) x 117 (D) x 80 (H) mm. All this contributes to a liquid capacity of 275 ml. Construction is based on acrylic for the body and backplate , and aluminum for the mounting bracket . Finally, a Viton seal ensures watertightness.
Otherwise, there are numerous input/output ports to simplify integration into a loop. There are four inputs on the top and bottom, and two outputs on the bottom. Finally, at the very top, there’s a filling port.
Pricing:
We end now with the retail price, which is €89.90 for the Glacier C370CPU waterblock in black. The white version will cost a little more: €99.90. As for the C260 tank, Phanteks announces:
- 159.90 € for the tank alone in black
- 239.90 € for the set with pump in black
- 249.90 € for the set with pump in white!
