With this card, we’re back with a customized board in Gigabyte sauce. It features the WindForce cooling system with three fans. Clearly, this cooling system is based on that of the RX 7800 XT. Gone is the steam chamber, replaced by a wide copper base. In any case, this is an imposing model occupying 2.5 slots in a case, all for a length of at least 30 cm.
Now, it remains to be seen what the frequencies will be, as the brand is not disclosing them. However, since the box bears the OC label, we can expect a boost higher than the 2245 MHz of the reference card.
Price is still unknown, while availability is likely to be erratic. Unfortunately, this is not a graphics card that can be bought easily, due to its distribution model. Initially, it was sold only via component upgrade kits in Europe… Before some rare stores began offering it individually. Clearly, for the price, you might as well go for the RX 7800 XT.
