New power supply for the manufacturer Gigabyte which announces a UD1300GM. It is about a block of strong power while being certified 80+ Gold. As usual with the announcements, no price known until the launch.
UD1300GM: 1300W in 80+ Gold while complying with ATX3.0!
With its power supply, the brand offers a rather compact block considering the power displayed. Indeed, it offers a 16 cm deep casing for a width of 15 cm and a height of 8.6 cm. The connectivity is fully modular to facilitate the wiring in your box.
On its side, the cooling is ensured by a 140 mm fan with a Fluid Dynamic Bearing type. It also adopts a semi-passive operation up to 20% load. In addition, the company announces that it has increased the size of the internal heatsinks to increase the life of its block.
Otherwise, we can count on an electrical part with a single rail 12V of 108.3A. Of course, we find quality components with Japanese capacitors. On the other side, we have the ATX3.0 compliance allowing the block to provide 200% of its power in short moments in order to absorb the consumption peaks of large GPUs. Finally, we have all the necessary electrical protections with OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP, OCP and OTP.
On the connector side, it has everything you need with a 24-pin ATX and two EPS12V 4+4 pins. For graphics cards, the block features a 16-pin 12VHPWR and eight PCIe 6+2 pins. Finally, for the peripherals, we can count on twelve SATA, six Molex and two Floppy.
All that remains is to know the price.
