Aorus Gen5 10000, up to 9.5 GB/s writing speed for Gigabyte SSDs!

Gigabyte Aorus Gen5 10000With this series, we find two models, the first one with a capacity of 1Tb and the second one with 2Tb. As you can see, we are dealing with SSDs in M.2 2280 format. However, unlike other competitors, Gigabyte opts for an imposing passive heatsink. The latter benefits from two copper heat pipes and aluminum fins for cooling.

Internally, the brand opts for 3D TLC memory and we have a DRAM cache in DDR4. The memory controller is a Phison E26 and we find a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface.

Regarding the speeds, it gives us access to a sequential read of 9.5 GB / s and a write of 8.5 GB / s … For the 1 TB version. The 2Tb model will be a little faster with its reading at 10Gb/s and its writing at 9.5Gb/s. Concerning the endurance, the biggest model of the two will be the most enduring with its 1400 TBW against 700 TBW for the 1Tb version. Finally, the consumption should be lower than 10W.

Currently, no price is known!
