Gamescom was also an opportunity for NZXT to present its new AIO kits. Indeed, the brand took advantage of the event to announce its Kraken Elite V2. It would also appear that the company is turning away from Asetek with this new series, leaving the Danish company to sink a little further.

Kraken Elite V2: CoolIT supplies the pumps!

Clearly, with this new series of all-in-one watercooling kits, NZXT is turning away from Asetek. In fact, the company is teaming up with CoolIT for the base. As a reminder, CoolIT also supplied Corsair. Here, the association with this new OEM would improve performance by 10% over the Kraken Elite v1 via a “NZXT Turbine” pump.

In short, if performance is improved on the pump side, so are other aspects. We’re thinking of the larger LCD display than on the first Kraken Elite. The screen is now 2.72″ diagonal. In terms of resolution, we’re talking about a 480p display with a frequency of 60 Hz.

Ventilation is also evolving, with new fans sharing a single frame. Their characteristics have yet to be determined. Otherwise, a simplified connection system centralized around the radiator facilitates assembly/cabling.

Prices range from $239.99 to $319.99 for RGB and non-RGB versions. Illuminated versions are also available in white.
