A few days ago, the Gamdias brand announced new watercooling kits. These belong to the manufacturer’s Chione series, and we welcome the new P5s. These kits feature an LCD display and 240 and 360 mm radiators.

Chione P5: new AIO with display from Gamdias!

Gamdias Chione P5With these new kits, the Taiwanese brand is showcasing kits featuring IPS screens on the pump cover. The latter features a 3.4″ diagonal and 480×480 resolution, all at 60 Hz. To ensure that your installation is always in the right direction, it can be reoriented in 90° increments. Of course, it’s managed by software, so you can choose what to display – nothing revolutionary here.

As for the pump, it can be mounted on a wide range of current and older sockets. Of course, LGA-1851/1700 compatibility is assured, as is that of the LGA-2000. On the AMD side, we find the AM4 and AM5, plus older platforms such as the AM3 and FMx. We also learn that the latter will run at up to 2,700 rpm via a 10-pole motor. Finally, on the cold plate side, we find a network of micro-wires spaced 0.12 mm apart.

The radiator is available in 240 and 360 mm sizes. Here, the construction is in aluminum, while the thickness is a standard 27 mm. On the latter, we’ll find two or three fans connected to each other by their frames. The least we can say is that they’ll be blowing pretty hard, with maximum speeds reaching 2,200 rpm. At full throttle, airflow is announced at 81.81 CFM, while static pressure will reach 3.15 mmH2O.

Last but not least, prices stand at $159.90 for 360 mm and $139.90 for 240 mm. The white version will cost around $5 more.
