A new watercooling kit from Lian Li, which unveils its Galahad II LCD. This is an AIO with a rather imposing LCD screen, the result of a collaboration with the Asetek brand.
Galahad II LCD: yet another kit with screen on the market!
The program includes a watercooling kit based on an 8th-generation Asetek pump. This pump features a mounting system equivalent to that of the Ryuo III 240 and 360 kits from Asus.
However, the Lian Li kit features a massive LCD screen on top of the pump. The latter has a diagonal of 2.88″ and a resolution of 480×480. Brightness rises to 500 nits, while colors are displayed in 24-bit format.
The use of this type of display is well known: personalization or system monitoring with display of temperature, CPU/GPU load, time, etc.
The heat sink comes in two sizes: 360 mm and 280 mm. Construction remains in aluminum, while thickness is 30 mm. The finish looks good, with square edges and no visible rivets or screws.
Ventilation is provided by two 140 mm fans or three 120 mm aRGB fans. The fans are connected in series via the frame, reducing the number of cables in the installation. As for the characteristics of the latter, we have :
- 120 mm
- Speed: from 300 rpm to 2450 rpm
- Air flow: up to 79.9 CFM
- Static pressure: up to 3.26 mmH2O
- 140 mm:
- Speed: from 300 rpm to 1550 rpm
- Air flow: up to 89.7 CFM
- Static pressure: up to 2.99 mmH2O
We don’t yet know the retail price of these kits. However, there’s no doubt that the bill will be high… That’s usually the case for this type of kit with screens!
