Cougar launches its FV150 Mini RGB enclosure, a new reference that rides the wave of aquarium-style enclosures. However, the manufacturer offers a mini series with micro-ATX card support. What’s more, so as not to spoil our pleasure, this case benefits from a compartmentalized design!
FV150 Mini RGB: a compact, compartmentalized aquarium case!
With its mini format, this model has compact dimensions. In fact, this reference measures 285 (W) x 436 (D) x 365 (H) mm. Inside, we have a motherboard tray that can accommodate models in ITX and micro-ATX formats. Backconnect motherboards are also supported on these models.
As for the rest of the components, there’s 40 cm of clearance for the graphics card and 17 cm for the CPU cooler. The power supply unit benefits from a 20 cm free compartment, and ventilation is ample, with nine slots for 120 mm fans and six for 140 mm fans.
Naturally, there are slots under the graphics card to maximize cooling and get the most out of it. Watercooling radiators can also be fitted. At the top, a 360/280/240 mm slot is proposed, as opposed to 280/240 mm on the side of the motherboard.
The storage section will benefit from a small cage accommodating a 3.5″ hard disk and a 2.5″ SSD . Otherwise, a final 2.5″ slot is available at the bottom.
With this case, Cougar offers full dust filtration, with filters at the top and bottom of the case. Otherwise, we’re dealing with a fairly classic case in itself, which will feature a control panel with one USB-C coupled with two USB-As. Price is not yet known.
