In June 2021, FSP launched its Dagger Pro power supply series. This was a range of SFX-format PSUs offering power ratings of 750W and 850W. Today, the series has been updated to ATX 3.0 standard!
Dagger Pro: FSP power supplies move to ATX 3.0!
Two power supplies, 750W and 850W, with 80+ Gold certification. Both models comply with ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standards. As you may have guessed, the famous 12VHPWR connector is used to power the big RTX 40.
Otherwise, internally, we find Japanese capacitors resistant to high temperatures. Electrical protections include OCP, OVP, SCP, OPP and OTP. Of course, the PFC is active, and a single 12V rail is provided. Cooling is provided by a 92 mm semi-passive fan. Under 20% load, it will not engage.
In terms of connectors, the two power ratings offer the same cables and connectors. A single 24-pin ATX is paired with two EPS12V 4+4 pins. For the graphics card, we have four PCIe 6+2 pins and one 12VHPWR. Last but not least, we have six SATA and two Molex peripherals.
Now, you should know that prices are $179 for the 850W version versus $159 for the 750W.
