FSP unveils new power supplies with its Hydro PTM X Pro series. Three new models comply with the new ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen5 standards. What’s more, they’re now much more compact!
Hydro PTM X Pro, much more compact power supplies!
With these new power supplies, the brand offers power ratings of 850W, 1000W and 1200W for the most powerful model. Performance promises to be excellent, with 80 Platinum certification. Finally, cable management is entirely modular.
However, FSP offers very compact units, with a depth of just 13 cm! By way of comparison, the Hydro PTM Pro we presented here measures 19 cm in depth, quite a reduction in size.
Internally, the brand uses capacitors of Japanese origin in 105°C and 450V. What’s more, these blocks are designed around a half-bridge LLC topology, with a single 12V rail. Electrical protection is provided by OCP, OVP, SCP and OTP. Finally, ventilation is provided by a 120 mm fan with an FDB-type bearing, operating semi-passively up to 30 e load.
Of course, connectivity will depend on the power of the power supply. In the meantime, at least one 12VHPWR connector will be available.
While the launch has been confirmed by the brand, no price details have been given. However, the warranty is 10 years.
