Forza 50: a small heatsink from Cougar!

0

After its Forza 85 the Cougar brand announces a new heatsink to complete its new series. Indeed, the brand announces its Forza 50, a model which, as you will see, is much wiser!

Forza 50: single turn 120 mm with four heatpipes!

Cougar Forza 50We start by talking about the dimensions that should allow this model to slip in just about anywhere. With its dimensions of 135 (W) x 75 (D) x 155 (H) mm, it should fit without too much trouble in a large number of cases.

Otherwise, the heat sink itself remains rather basic since it displays only four 6 mm copper heat pipes. Moreover, these will come into direct contact with the CPU placed below. Nevertheless, there’s no denying it, Cougar takes care of the finish of its product. The first fin has a brushed finish and the heatpipes have caps. It must be very pleasing to the eye.

Concerning the ventilation, the brand opts for a MHP-120 mill, the same as the Forza 85. The latter will work up to 2000 RPM and will blow, at full speed, 82.48 CFM on the radiator. The static pressure will reach 4.24 mmH2O, which is quite significant!

Again, no sales price from Cougar. Finally, same observation as the Macho Maxx as far as socket compatibility is concerned: mainstream platform only.

Here is Cougar’s technical sheet!
