Focus 2: Fractal renews its entry-level housing!

0

Fractal Design renews its series of entry-level cases with a Focus 2 model. This is the second generation of cases whose goal is to offer an attractive price. The bet seems to succeed with versions displayed at $69.99 and $79.99, but what do we have the right for that price!

Focus 2 : $70 and $80 cases !

Fractal Design Focus 2With this reference, Fractal offers us a fairly compact case measuring 215 (W) x 472 (D) x 451 (H) mm. On the scale, it will be a rather light model with 6.4 kg in tempered glass version against 6.1 kg with its solid steel panel. Otherwise, inside, we can install motherboards in ATX, µATX and mini-ITX format. The storage part has two 3.5″ and two 3.5″ slots or six 2.5″ slots. Despite everything, we have a compatibility with water cooling radiators rather interesting since it will be possible to integrate a radiator in 360 mm / 280 mm at the front. At the top, we will be satisfied with a model in 240 mm against a 120 mm at the rear. Nevertheless, there will be room for an air cooling with a height of 170 mm. The rest of the components have restrictions of 175 mm to 200 mm for the power supply and 405 mm for the graphics card. Beware, however, of the height of the RAM, which is limited to 46 mm in height with a 240 mm radiator mounted at the top. Finally, you should know that the Focus 2 comes with two Aspect 14 fans on the front, with or without RGB lighting, depending on the case version. Especially since the flow should not be limited thanks to the mesh front. The bill, as we said, promises to be affordable since it is $69.99 in non-RGB version and $79.99 with RGB lighting!
